It was great to be able to invite people in to our Community House last month to learn more about what it is like to live in our Community, and what the residents’ experiences have been. We had visitors from across Leicester, as well as some all the way from Cambridge!
Our residents worked really hard to make our visitors welcome, giving tours, sitting and chatting and serving lunch and refreshments. The visitors also joined us for prayer, and heard presentations from the residents about the best and most difficult parts of their year. Listen to Astride share her experience here:
In order for The Community of the Tree of Life to continue offering this year of transformation to young people, we need people to partner with us both financially and in prayer. One way you can partner with us is by becoming a Friend. As a Friend, you will commit to a monthly donation which goes into our bursary fund. Our Friends also commit to praying for our Community, and we commit to praying for you! As a Friend, you will also receive prayer resources and invitations to Quiet Days. Our Friends’ donations are managed for us through the Parish Giving Scheme. Go to bit.ly/ctolfriends to set up your monthly donation.
Friends also receive a personal invitation to our annual Community Celebration Day. This year, our Celebration Day is on the 11th of June at 4pm. If you would like to become a Friend, or are just interested in getting to know our Community a bit better, then you are welcome to join us!
