Backyard Cookout

As it was our final study session of term we decided to doing something a bit different. Having recently explored and reflected on our practice of ‘work’, we thought we should get our hands dirty with a practical session…

‘…the pattern for all work… is creative and assertive. It is rearranging the raw material of God’s creation in such a way that it helps the world in general, and people in particular, thrive and flourish’ – Tim Keller

And so, we ‘rearranged’ a wooden pallet into kindling and cooked lunch on an open fire. We rearranged raw ingredients into a feast! Smoky beans with hasselback potatoes & slaw, followed by molten chocolate oranges with sweet cream. It was so exciting to use our ‘back garden’ for the first time!
